ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences andResearch & Dr. Bidhan Chandra RoyHospital, Haldia is the first totally self-financed Medical College in West Bengal.This medical college and hospital hasbeen established by Indian Centre forAdvancement of Research andEducation, Haldia (ICARE) – a registeredSociety (NGO). The college is situated ina sprawling integrated campus of 34acres by the side of river Haldi.This medical college has been establishedwith the twin objectives of nurturing thestudents admitted in MBBS course tobecome successful doctors in due courseand to serve the society through its multispecialty hospital both secondary &tertiary medical care.In fact we shall help the students byproviding them base for the holisticdevelopment and not just their academicswith excellent infrastructural facilities whichshall mark us above the others.I welcome the students who want toaspire and build a successful medicalcareer to be ahead of others.
